Ariel grew up in Raleigh, NC. After receiving her undergraduate and post-baccalaureate degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, she moved to Charlotte in May 2011. Prior to starting at THM, Ariel was the Events and Programming Director at Temple Israel. While at Temple Israel, Ariel supported and coordinated logistics across multiple departments, including programming, marketing, education, and fundraising. Ariel oversaw events and programs, from small committee meetings to large annual Fundraiser Galas. Ariel is thrilled to be joining the THM team.

• Most thankful for: First and foremost my amazing family. Followed by my ability to travel the world.
• Favorite Activity: Traveling the world! And anything outdoors (hiking, ziplining and kayaking)- I love the mountains!
• Favorite Book: Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen
• Favorite Movie of 2022: Top Gun: Maverick - it was fantastic!
• Favorite TV Show of 2022: Yellowstone (2018-)
• Favorite Vacation Destination: I definitely have the travel bug! With my children, we love to go to Disney. However, every year my husband and I either travel to a new country or state that we have never visited. I have loved Israel, Italy, and Curacao the most. But am looking forward to my next adventure!
• Dog or Cat person? Dog person. I have an 85lb golden retriever, named Shelby. She is the sweetest dog!
